01. How do we book you for the wedding?
Reach out 9–18 months in advance to secure your date. Then, let's schedule a time to talk over Zoom, or in person over coffee. Once we know how much our personalities click (no pun intended), you’ll receive a proposal outlining our collections, pricing, and contract terms. We’ll then secure your date with a retainer and your booking is official with a signed contract.
Planning beings with scheduling an engagement session and a final timeline meeting closer to the big day — keeping communication open ensures everything runs smoothly and is very important to us and your peace of mind.
02. Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes, we do travel! However, if you are getting married on Vancouver Island or in the Greater Vancouver areas, you will not have to worry about a travel fee! If you are inquiring from outside of Canada, no problem! Because Sparrow Photography can photograph in all 50 United States. Travel and/or accommodations fees may be added for destination weddings outside of British Columbia or Canada.
You can choose from three wedding photography collections which have varies hours included. Please inquiry for the full price list on what is all included in each collection.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
About a month before the wedding, we’ll ask for a list of must-have family groupings. It is always a plus to appoint a family member or friend (who knows most of the key people) to help gather groups. On average, family photos can take 20-50 minutes which will be adding into the timeline accordingly. Sparrow Photography will assist you in choosing the best location for family photos ahead of time. That way, you and your wife/husband are able to be present and in the moment every minute of the day.
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, absolutely! We do offer engagement sessions. It’s such a great way for us to get comfortable working together before the big day — plus, you’ll have beautiful, relaxed photos to celebrate this season of your life.
Engagement sessions can be booked on their own or are included in some of my wedding collections. We are more than happy to share more details or help you plan a location that fits your vibe!
